We started shooting photos around 1964 every week. I shot a friend sister's horse around that fall and the sister happened to be an agency model. Next thing you know we are shooting her agency images and studying her massive portfolio.

Another friend's sister was a top FORD MODEL out of New York, living in New York yet she had thousands of images and a second portfolio book in her parents house. I studied her portfolio images and had amazing knowledge few have as adults on everything effective to ineffective in her images. Shooting is common sense after all and like our intelligence and IQs in the 180s to my dad at an IQ of 198. I was blessed with a great memory and common sense second to noone. For model photography, it's a serious gift to have!

In the mid 70s to mid 80s, I dated, and was friends with one of the top US models who also happened to be a FORD MODEL featured on the Time Square billboard for CALVIN KLEIN and in the Boston Garden to every T bus and Train in Massachusetts in mid 1970s and friends to early 1990s before her marriage. This model was in about 10,000 newspapers a week including Boston Globe when 9 inches thick on Sundays, the Boston Herald, New York Times, LA Times so we chatted A to Z about modeling, agencies and noted my thoughts were dead on.

I studied my sister's massive collection of glamour magazines as well, including Vogue and noticed not all togs for these magazines were aware how to pose their models and that most of Instagram portfolio images have severely poor and ineffective posing and outfits that will hurt their chances of success in addition to having no SEO key words that name brand clothing assist with, Most portfolios to agency portfolios pay no attention to any detail, or professionalism compared to the days of film when a photographer who winged it was out of business in a week or two.
